RDRC 60 for SG60: One Nation. One Run. One Slightly Overambitious Plan.

RDRC 60 for SG60: One Nation. One Run. One Slightly Overambitious Plan.

Singapore, you’ve come a long way.

From fishing village to global metropolis, from kampong footpaths to fully-connected PCNs, you’ve moved faster than the MRT during peak hour. And now, you’re turning 60.

To celebrate, Red Dot Running Company isn’t popping champagne—we’re lacing up (ok, maybe a little champagne too).

This is RDRC60 for SG60: a foot-powered love letter to Singapore, stitched together by tarmac, trail, and tenacity. Sixty kilometres around the island, an ode to the places, people, and perspiration that make this home. Come join us!

Psst! Due to the unexpectedly HUGE interest (❤️ our community!), we will be extending the RDRC60 x SG60 challenge till the end of the year! We just ordered extra patches, so get your shoes on and get running!

Why do you love running in Singapore?

I love running in Singapore because there’s always a pitstop available for hydration or an emergency toilet break. —Dias Cao

The Plan: 60km of Grit, Green, and Geylang

One island, one run. Explore our island’s iconic landmarks from east to west. Hit seaside breezes, skyline loops, jungle climbs, and the best excuse to eat four plates of char kway teow post-run.

Your runs should aim to celebrate a chapter of Singapore’s story, and because not everyone is training for UTMB, feel free to do it solo, pair up, break it down or run it en masse, there’s no right way to do it, except to DO IT!

Step out of your usual route and try something new!

East Coast Park (Image National Parks Board). Great views, flat and plenty of facilities along the way. Avoid getting run over by uncles crushing 20km/h on their souped up e-bikes.

Your 6 run targets - don’t say bo-jio

1. See at least one merlion (ps: Bigger is better).

2. Nail at least 2km of that park connector tarmac (PCN 4-eva!) in one run.

3. Bag some summits - Bukit Timah, Mt Faber, Fort Canning … (Does Redhill count? Asking for a friend!)

4. PARK-tor … ("Paktor" is a Singlish term that means dating) - Get in a run at one of our many parks - bonus points if you get a selfie with a senior tai chi gang. Bishan Park, East Coast Park, Labrador Park? Yes. Parkway Parade? No.

5. Do at least one push-up/pull-up/leg swing at your friendly neighbourhood Fitness Station. Aunty game, on.

6. Finish strong at your fave running store (RDRC of course!) and if you tell us you’re on your RDRC x SG60 quest, we’ll slip you a Unived Gel 100* on the house, for your power up!

Safety, park connectors that allow runners to run island wide from coastal to city, and supported by close knitted running community!—Ying Qi

How to Join the Movement

You don’t have to crush 60km in a single day (unless you’ve got something to prove).
Here’s how you can make it yours:

Break it up: Two 8-10km runs per week

Break it down: 2km the first day, 3km the next

Start anywhere: Just get moving and make it meaningful

Go run somewhere NEW!

📸 Share your journey with #RDRCxSG60 and tag @reddotrunningco for a chance to be featured. Because if it’s not on the ’gram, did it even happen?

Bedok Reservoir-where triathletes breed. Run cool with sweat-wicking socks and bring a hydration flask to rehydrate and beat the heat.

I love running in Singapore because I don’t need a sauna - just a quick run around Marina Bay Sands will do.—Jonah

🇸🇬 A Birthday Worth Sweating For

Singapore didn’t get here by taking the easy route. Neither will you.

But every drop of sweat on this run connects us to something deeper—this island, its stories, and the mad, magical way it all comes together.

To make it extra special, we’ll be giving a limited edition RDRC x SG60 patch to everyone who completes this challenge. Come into the store, show us your six pics for all six targets and your run routes on any run app, smartphone/watch or fitness device (pro tip - finish at number six for a Bix 😉.)

You have the REST OF THE YEAR (we extended it due to popular demand-yay!) to do this. Think of it as your stand up for Singapore!
