An Agile and Cushioned Lightweight Trainer and Racer for the Trails
Hoka’s Torrent 2 is a nimble trail racer with a streamlined silhouette that gives you both cushioning and agility—something Hoka shoes are becoming increasingly good at (E.g., Hoka Rincon 2).
The Hoka Torrent 2’s lightweight performance is made possible with the PROFLY™ midsole material, which gives you a forgiving landing and responsive toe-off. With a relatively low stack height (23–18mm) in comparison to other Hoka shoes, the Torrent 2 is Hoka's answer to a lightweight trainer or racer.
A Secure Upper That's Made Using Recycled Yarn
You’re also given a more wrapped and secure fit with the Torrent 2’s engineered mesh upper which is made using recycled plastic. The recycled material, Unifi REPREVE®, is derived from post-consumer waste plastic and is testament to Hoka’s commitment to sustainability.
With multi-directional lugs and a tacky rubber outsole, you enjoy superior traction when tackling a variety of terrain and conditions. However, if you're looking to conquer technical mountain trails, you might want to check out the Hoka Speedgoat 4, which has a more aggressive Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsole).
