HOKA's Latest Lightweight Carbon Plated Performance Shoe
HOKA's Rocket X is groundbreaking in the realm of high performance footwear. You get a light, forgivingly cushioned, agile and responsive ride without compromising too much on any one of those attributes. However, if you're used to HOKA's typical marshmallow bounce, the Rocket X is significantly more responsive because of its carbon plate; making it a great shoe for race day. And in our opinion, we think it's a formidable rival to Nike's range of racing shoes.
How it Fits
The Rocket X has a unisex fit and is very much like HOKA's lightweight everyday trainer, the Rincon. If you like a roomy toe box typical of TOPO Athletics' and Altra's shoes you might find the Rocket X narrow.
Inline with today's racing shoe trends, the Rocket X's outsole features light texturing and more durable rubber where your main points of contact will be. Which improves the shoe's durability without adding too much weight.
